Microsoft releases new preview build for Windows Server
Microsoft had just released the first early build of the next version of Windows Server. It is accessible to participants in the company's Insider program.
As you probably know by now, the company had decided to change the way new versions of the platform are delivered, by releasing of two major updates each year. In addition to bug fixes, the new server system, along with various other enhancements and new features, highlights micro services and containerization. Along with this, Hyper-V-based virtual machines will now be able to reach uninterrupted memory without mediation, will benefit from improved network communication between containers, and a number of optimizations to help reduce the footprint of Windows Server Core by nearly 20%. Number of optimizations also target the so-called Nano Server, whose volume is condensed by more than 70%, and finally there is PowerShell 6.0
